Introducing my 'Jaywalker Bag'...

I finally got some photos of my completed Jaywalker Bag! After the disappointment at the original Landscape Bag pattern, I reworked the stitch pattern of Grumperina's famous Jaywalker socks for the scale of the bag. I must say I'm quite pleased with the results!!
See pre-felting and then the finished bag...

I love the way the stitch pattern made the peaks & valleys along the top hem, but even more so with the shape of the bottom. I know it won't keep the shape when filled with goodies, but it was a fun surprise when I took it out of the washer!

For those fortunate enough to have a Ravelry account, the explanation of the recalculated stitch pattern is in the comments of my Jaywalker Bag project.

Today I was able to make some progress on my Embossed Stitch socks (from More Sensational Knitted Socks) while enjoying a wonderful outdoor concert performance by the SF Opera. A great picnic with friends and surprisinly warm weather for the city!

New on my needles are some baby hats & booties from, well, babyknits Hats & booties... I foresee a season of baby showers ahead!
